Title: Ubuntu font not available for pdf text fields
Post by: Mixhael on March 04, 2012, 10:46:29 AM
When I insert a PDF text field and want to set the font to ubuntu, it is not available. The font is installed (by default) on my ubuntu natty narwhal installation and is available to other programs.

Any clue why?

When I check the available fonts in my settings, the ubuntu font is there. Also, I added it to my .fonts directory and ran fc-cache

Still: when I go to the properties of my pdf text field and want to set it to Ubuntu font, I cannot...

I haven't worked with PDF forms, but from what I understand there are limitations on using fonts in PDF text fields. Not all PDF viewers support using a "custom" font, but use a default font for all PDF text fields.
