Hello,
If anyone has any part of this info for me I would greatly appreciate it. I need my pdf form to flatten and email itself by using a button. I assumed a script would be the best way to go about this.
I would like to be able to enter multiple emails(possibly selected from a field box within pdf), subject and body.
Right now I'm using Mailto: and it is not working for me. It mails me an empty fdf and I need it to mail me a flattened pdf.
If anyone can solve even one of my problems I would greatly apreciate it!
Thank you
I don't think it is possible.
Saving the filled in PDF form can not be done from inside the PDF. Even saving a filled in PDF form is impossible if the form has not been created with Adobes program (it has to be signed with a specific key to allow saving).
The workaround recommended is to use a PDF Printer to print the filled in form to a new PDF.
Thanks. I'll have to figure something out. I made a submit form button to email it and I selected to email as pdf. But scribus will only email it as an fdf, ugh.
Scribus doesn't email the form, the PDF viewer does. And as far as I understand a viewer won't allow saving as a PDF (and that would include e-mailing it) if the form is not signed with Adobes key.
