Title: Applying to Master Page Removes Previous Effect
Post by: leafit on August 23, 2018, 12:54:58 AM
Hello, I'm using Scribus 1.4.7.

When ever I try to apply to a master page boarder it always remove the pages numbers or the other way around. (See video in link) Is there a way to fix this?

Thank you.

if i understand you correctly, you want to apply two master pages to one single page...

this is not possible in scribus... every page has one single master page applied, by the default it's the "normal" master page.

depending on what you want to create, you will have to create each variant of master pages you want to use or use the scrapbook to add further elements to a page.

I think this is a matter of having the page number on a Master Page and adding a border to the page.

In versions of Scribus before 1.5.3 or 1.5.4 Master Page content is always below the page, so anyhthing on the page will cover the contents on the Master Page.

In newer versions it is possible to have content on a Master Page to be on top of the page content.
