Title: Attaching text to path changes font size
Post by: Karela on October 05, 2015, 06:28:35 PM
Running into a bit of a bug with a business card I am designing. The phone, e-mail and address texts are attached to wavy lines. The street address is a bit ungainly looking with the house number and postal code looming larger than the street and city names, so I formatted the numbers at a slightly smaller font size. Except that every time I attach it to the path, it makes all the font a uniform size. Any way around this?

strange

i tried it out and when attaching text to path, the font size is respected on both the version installed here.

which version of scribus are you using?

do you have a screenshot? of the original text and the text attached (you can do that by duplicating the text before attaching)

Hi a.l.e.,

Strange indeed...here is a screenshot, I have exaggerated the size difference so that the problem is obvious.

I am using scribus 1.4.3

I should upgrade... just waiting for a break in the work because I am always nervous that things will get buggy and I will lose work time installing and un-installing...
