Title: Strange printing result.
Post by: eilygre on December 08, 2011, 04:48:20 PM
I made ready a page with 1 picture. The scanned picture was bigger then the part I wanted to print. In the image frame I placed the part I would print, the rest was outside the frame and therefor not visible. I printed directly to the printer (no PDF).
The result was strange. The picture had slid down in the frame! It showed another part of the image then I had chosen! BUG in Scribus I thought. But the answer I got was that it was a bug in the printer driver.
I printed to another printer and the result was OK, so I have to accept the answer.
But can anyone explain to me what Scribus is sending to the printer driver. Is it the full picture with info about what part to print and where? I find it very strange.

Yes, Scribus does not crop the image on export.
