Title: Too many fonts. How can I deactivate them ?
Post by: Jean-no on October 23, 2012, 06:03:22 PM
Using Mac OS X, I have hundreds of typefaces, that I usualy handle with a type manager.
This doesn't work with Scribus that takes all the types present on the system. And it causes the software to instability (I'm pretty sure it is the reason).
I found out how to deactivate types, but my question is : is there a way uncheck all types at once ? Is there a configuration file I could edit ?

no, there is no such option.

i'm pretty sure that sooner or later, cédric will hack something around it... but it's not there yet...

well, yes, that dialog lets you deactivate fonts in scribus... but you have to click on each of them... individually...
not really funny if you have several hundreds fonts....
