Title: Snap to objects?
Post by: Ooker on November 08, 2014, 09:52:00 AM
Is there a way to snap an edge of object A to other edge of object B? The only way I can make out is making a guide in the edge of object A. This is not convenient, you know

Unfortunately there are no "snap to object" functions in Scribus but there are alignment functions in the Align and Distribute Palette that might come in useful. (The ones on the far left and far right of the palette align to opposite sides/top-bottom.)

I see there are some requests on this feature. Why don't we have it?

because you didn't implement it yet! – the scribus developers are working hard to make this program better and keep it stable...
but there is some good news: there is some new feature ccalled 'snap to item' in scribus 1.5.
