Title: gimp as plugin

When trying to edit a picture in scribus and it try to open gimp, i get the message that gimp is not installed (which it is )
Any suggestions ?

Scribus 1.4.1   Gimp 2.8.14   Macos 10.9.5

Macbook 2009  2.53GHz  Intel Core 2 Duo

go to 'preferences' → 'external tools' → 'image processing tool' and tell scribus where it will find gimp.

tommylui, is there any specific reason why you're using 1.4.1?
The latest stable version - 1.4.6 - has been out for nearly two years and you can get it from here: https://wiki.scribus.net/canvas/Download (I would recommend the DMG installation route.)
