Title: Trouble in PDF exporting
Post by: soakedlontra on October 17, 2014, 05:52:47 PM
I have just created my first Scribus document. It's a cover for a daily planner. I have followed the tutorial that I found somewhere in the Scribus website.

I am trying to export this Scribus file as a PDF file but a window pops up and looks like this

I understand that there is something wrong but I don't know what it is.

Well the link to the photo did not work so I will try in a different way:

well maybe FB doesn't like Scribus.

first you should edit your post (insert the deleted bracket by the end tag of the link...)

as the screenshot sais, there's some overfloving text on page 1 of your document. take a look at the text frame – maybe it's only an empty line...
if you just ignore the error, without checking it, you could end up with a .pdf file withsome missing text...

Thank you very much I missed the missing [ !

I clicked on the photo icon and added the same link but the photo doesn't show up:

How can make the actual image to show up on my post? OK ignore this question.

I messed with the text and then exported the file as PDF  again the same warning window showed up but this time I ignored it and the file has been exported as PDF. I checked it and nothing was missing. Thanks!  :)
