Page layout: Apply image frame to two pages

Hi all,

I have started on a  document with a 2-page layout design (2 pages side by side when exported to PDF).

this is what I want but I want an image to cover over two pages. I know you can do this by just drawing the image frame onto two blank pages but I cant do this because in my page view one page is up one row above the second page so i cant draw the frame over the two pages.

is there something Im doing wrong with the page view so that I can have the two blank pages on the same line.

the pages are laid out as Letter (Portrait) size.

Thanks in Advance

hi poldenais

usually, the first page is a right one. the first facing pages are #2 and #3.
you can set this under 'document setup' → 'document' → 'first page is:'

Ok in the Pic attached I have 3 letter pages, and I have an image frame on page 2 which I want to extend to Page 3 but I cant expand it down to the bottom page.

hi poldenais

do you really intend to expand a picture from the front to the rear side of the same physical page? – why?

Hi Sorry, Im creating a two paged PDF document layout from this Scribus Document so that each page would sit side by side when reading it using Adobe so 1+2, 3+4 would be on the same page etc etc

utnik

ok.
in this case, you should rearrange the pages.
set 'file' → 'document setup' → 'document' → 'first page is:' to 'left page'!
