Blending image on cover page
« on: December 09, 2012, 10:51:11 pm »
Hi gang,

I am trying to create a cover for an eBook I'm putting together. The image is the main piece and is black and white and is abstract in nature. The bottom part of the image is black and below that I used a shape object and filled it with black as well (Rich Black). I'll put my title in white on the shape object. The problem is that there is a noticeable line between the two objects. I looked for something like a 'stroke' or 'fill' option for the objects to see if I could change the line color that surrounds the shape object, but not seeing it. Any suggestions? I'm using Scribus 1.4.0. I've attached an image of the front cover. The line shows more in PDF format.

Thanks,
CH

Found what I was looking for...changing the 'stroke' did it.
