Hi,

I am new user (Scribus 1.4.1). I need help finding where to change the setting for how much does a cursor move an object when it is selceted and moved using the arrow keys. Can the cursor increments be specified in Scribus? If yes, where?

Would appreciate if anyone can help.

Thanks,
San

I'm not sure if what you're trying to do is actually possible...

But you might find this page interesting:

Scribus Help (use F1 to pull it up when in Scribus) --> Documentation --> Scribus Basics --> Keyboard Shortcuts. Pay special attention to the section titled Moving and Resizing Using Arrow Keys.

Also check out Mouse Shortcuts in the same section of the Scribus Basics Documentation.

Hi Christen,

Thanks for pinting me to this resource. I got what I wanted to achieve though not as flexible as being able to change the amount by which objects move as is possible in Illustrator.

For benefit of others who might see this, the following happened when I used various keys to move an object -

Arrow key - object moved by 0.0139"
Ctrl + arrow key - 1.0"
Shift + arrow key - 0.1"
Ctrl + Shift + arrow key - 0.01"

Thanks a ton.
