Hi everybody !

I'm new around here and I don't find what I need...

I'd like to know how to have all colors. I just have 10 colors available... Maybe I miss something ?

When you first start up Scribus, before you open a document, go to Edit > Colors. You can choose your preferred color palette there. Or you can create your own colors... ;)

Thank you ! I found it !

But which do you use ? There are so many !!!

it depends on whether you want RGB or CMYK colors. many of the pros recommend the Open Office CMYK set. However, if you're not planning on doing tasks that require CMYK colors, I would recommend the X11 set. :)

"All colors" are more than 4 billion colors....

Because Scribus supports both RGB (3 bytes per color makes 16 million colors) and CMYK (4 bytes per color makes 4 billion colors).

iscambe, use any color you need!

but don't use too many different colors... (basically: not more more than 4)

use the "extra > color wheel" to choose matching colors.

most of the time, the color you will be using, will be defined around the logo or pictures you're using.

basically: there are no good colors to use :-)
not in the general sense.

ps.: well, if you're starting with scribus, you should be rather conservative when choosing colors: use color that don't look too aggressive and keep a good contrast among colors
