Outline all fonts - Bad PDF generation
« on: May 07, 2017, 10:29:01 am »
Hi all,

I'm using Scribus 1.5.2 to publish a PDF Fishing Magazine.
Outlining all fonts results in a strange behavior (some character is missing and it's substituted - see attached images).

Thanks for your help and suggestions.
Kind regards,

Checco

hi checco

i don't know, what went wrong here:
  • it could be a problem with the font file. (did you check the integrity of the font? does it happen with other fonts too?)
  • you could try to export the file with other scribus versions (1.5.1 or the latest build of the upcoming 1.5.3) – for me, the latest 1.5.3 build feels much betther than either 1.5.1 or 1.5.2.
if nothing helps, you can show ne the project with the used fonts ('file' → 'collect for output') and i will take a look at it.

Hi utnik,
I've installed Scribus 1.5.3.svn from PPA. The exported PDF has no problem with outlined text.

Thanks for your advice.
