Getting the Euro sign ( € ) to render well
« on: January 20, 2017, 02:42:50 pm »
Hello everyone,

I am making a fillable .pdf to make quotes / agreements in. However, for the life of me I can not figure out how to get the Euro sign to behave properly in an Acrobat 1.5 export. When opened in Google Chrome, the euro sing appears in a different font and disappears as soon as the focus is on another field.

I have attached a sample document made in Scribus 1.4.6 - Exported to Adobe 1.5 (Acrobat 6)

Hi Luneya!

My guess is that your pdf files are not including the fonts?  Perhaps someone more knowledgeable can step in here. I'm just learning Scribus and do not know the technology of pdf forms.
