Lines Messed Up
« on: October 21, 2016, 08:10:12 am »
I have included the .pdf file to show the lines around the boxes are not correct after I made the pdf file... on one side of the boxes the line is thinning out and I am not sure why... I have also included the .sla file and fonts.  My scribus file looks correct, not sure what is messing up the pdf file creation.  Thanks for the help.

hi mnawij
  • you have set printer margins of 0.3125" (left and right).
  • two of the boxes start at 0.3056", so they overlap the margin on the left and the big one overlaps on the right side.
  • in the .pdf export dialog you checked the box 'clip to printer margins'.
you should arrange your boxes along guides – the margins would be ok for this.
and i wouldn't clip the content while exporting. yust don't place objects where you don't like them…

Thanks utnik,

Never had that happen before, the boxes "snapped" to the margin and so I thought that they were in the correct position... Guess I should have double checked instead of assuming :-)
Everything is great now, thanks again.
