Hello,

I created a pdf-document with scribus 1.4.2 and 1.4.5 under linux and windows.
The scribus file contains an image-frame with an JPG-File as background or any other imagetype.
I exported this scribus document to pdf with default values. I open the pdf-document and see the image, but if I sign the pdf with
my signature in adobe reader the image disappears in the signed pdf I get the error message: "An error exists on this page. Acrobat may not display the page correctly. Please contact the person hwo created the PDF document to correct the problem."

I've tried various settings and image filetypes, but the result keeps the same as explained above.
I use the Adobe Reader 11.0.10 under windows for signing.

Can anybody reproduce oder explain this behavior? Any Ideas?

Thanks for support :D

hi mike,

there are a few chances that few people around here are used to signing pdf, have adobe reader, and windows...

but, who knows?, maybe now that you ask again, somebody will show up!

if you don't get an answer, please submit a ticket on http://bugs.scribus.net ... somebody will be forced to test it, then! :-)

have a nice weekend
