Page position on screen

Hi everyone

I am a new user to Scribus, I have tried searching for the answer to my question but can't seem to find the right terminology to use...

Can someone be so kind enough to advise as to how (if at all possible) you go about setting the position of the page so it is centre instead of all the way on the left?

I have gone through the preferences but can't seem to figure out how, I imagine it might be staring me in the face.  Any help would be appreciated  :)

Thank you in advance!

hi darkhalf

there's no function to center a page in the window. but you may increase the scratch space on the left to fit your needs. ('file' → 'document setup' → 'display' → 'scratch space')

Wow, thank you for the quick reply!  That certainly helps...

Is there a way to set the default zoom level to "Fit to height"?

not that i know – but the shortcut 'ctrl+0' ('cmd+0' on macOS) should be fast enough...
