Hi

I try do a ad for a newspaper. I have set a color set for c,m,y = 0 % and K = 100% and Output Intented For: Printer.

When I submitted my pdf file the press said it couldn't be printed as my text blacks were "4 Color Black' as opposed to 100% K Black. What Can I do. (I think thay don't support Scribus).

hi tkode

when i understand you right, you didn't use the standard 'black' (which is 0c,0m,0y,100k) you tryed to create the same color a second time – but why?
something went wrong by this unnecessary step.

if there is some good reason to create your own color (and you can't save your problem), please show me your .sla file – i'll try to track down the problem...

Nermander

Most likely your file contains several different blacks and you have not correctly made sure the incorrect black is not used.

Without your .sla we can't help further.

Hello

They finally accepted my work. I'm not sure but I think that changing a overprint property of the text frame to "overprint" (instead knockout) fixed my "4 Color Black' problem. I cannot understand that but now it should be ok.
