Scribus and Latex

Does somebody use Scribus and Latex next to each other and for what purpose?

I have learned to use Scribus and I was wondering if it would be worthwhile to learn Latex for (eventual) future use.

I would like to have your thoughts about it. A big thanks beforehand.

Perplexus, I don't really use LaTeX myself but are you aware that Scribus can include LaTeX code in Render Frames?

It can take a bit of setting up - depending on your OS - but it could come in useful, for example, if you use a lot of tables in your Scribus documents. (Tables in the current version of Scribus aren't very well implemented.)

This doesn't really answer your question, I just thought I'd mention it.

In my opinion, it can't hurt to learn the LaTeX basics so you have an understanding of what it can do so you've got a choice of options when you start a new document.
