For my  research purposes i am in need of preparing a questionnaire in Kannada. I was a regular user of Scribus, but never thought of Indian Language support in Scribus. I tried typing in Kannada Scribus with no success. (Same as http://wiki.scribus.net/canvas/Complex_Script_Functionality#Language.2C_Script_.26_Language_System_tags) Is anybody using Indian languages in Scribus? Any suggestions? Thanks...

I don't known the answer to your question, but I think more information is needed.

What version of Scribus are you using?

What input method are you using?

What fonts are you using? (Note that the story editor font and the canvas font are different.)

you could try this version of scribus:

you may want to  get in touch with anil, since i think that he might have a newer version...
