PDF to Power Point

I just started to prepare the 2 days conference to present my book Calculation ERROR

7 hours Power Point presentations to prepare, but I do not like how the office packs work here.
I prefer to create my presentations by Scribus.

Special because I work now very much with layers

German
English
Backgrund

and I need for the conference all my power points in both languages.

So I just decided to make all presentations with Scribus and use a PDF to Power Point converter

Do you really need the PDF to PowerPoint conversion step?

Scribus can make "interactive" PDFs that are viewable in the full screen mode of Adobe Reader (and possibly other software too) just like PowerPoint slides. Simply go to the "Extras" tab of the "Save as PDF" dialog and there are lots of options available once you check "Enable Presentation Effects".

Doing it this way would mean that you only need an appropriate PDF reader installed and you can also distribute the PDFs normally, if you want to. It might save you some time and possible conversion problems.

Thanks, I will look on this method.
